Isuzu D-MAX is the most fuel efficient 3.0 litre and powerful one-tonne Ute in both 4x2 and 4x4 variants available today. Unique in its class, the Isuzu D-MAX Cab Chassis platform has a dedicated longer than standard Ute spec by 150mm wheelbase, to optimize special body fitment and load balance.

The Isuzu D-MAX's style and substance are the design trademarks of its aggressive exterior which makes its presence known when on or off the road.

Cruise Control - Standard on SX and LS models, the cruise control operates via an intuitive-action steering column stalk.

Electro-Luminescent Cluster - Available on all LS models, this electro-luminescent cluster gives a dynamic, sports style feel to the cabin.

6 Function Trip Computer - The 6 function trip computer features Trip A, Trip B, instant fuel usage, average fuel usage, outside temperature display and odometer reading.

DRIVE TRAIN

At the heart of every Isuzu D-MAX is an exceptionally fuel-efficient, Hi-Power 3 litre turbo diesel engine forged with power and common in mind.

Engine - With built in technology of a VGS turbo, common-rail system and intercooler, the D-MAX engine can produce low fuel consumption, emissions and noise; but produces loads of torque for towing and four wheel driving.

VGS Turbo - The engine uses a variable geometry turbo (VGS) system to adjust air intake in order to maximise fuel economy or torque according to throttle.

Intercooler - With a VGS turbo working hard to adjust air intake, the air needs to be compressed and cooled. This is where the top mounted intercooler drives cooled air into the VGS turbo, ensuring a quick flow to the turbo.

Common- Rail System - The engine also uses common-rail technology to deliver precise amounts of fuel to each cylinder for efficient burning of fuel.

PERFORMANCE

Regardless of the job at hand, the Isuzu D-MAX delivers a strong, reliable and economical performance; the all round ute for work and play.

Towing & Braking - D-MAX has 3 tonne braked trailer towing capacity on 4x4 models and 2.5 tonne braked trailer towing capacity on 4x2 models. So with a high powered engine and with big brakes for great stopping power, it's made for towing.

Off Road Ability - With its short overhangs, high ground clearance, limited slip rear differential and under body protection, the Isuzu D-MAX will take you off road with ease.

Suspension - Offering two types of suspension, the Isuzu D-MAX can offer outstanding ride comfort under various conditions.

Chassis - With the chassis carrying the load as opposed to the engine pulling the load, the chassis becomes the backbone ensures that D-MAX is reliable and durable.

Tapered Bearings - Rear axles run on two tapered bearings per side in a D-MAX. This offers optimum load carrying capacity and durability.

SAFETY

Airbags - Dual front airbags are available on all models featuring internal tethers to optimised the shape of the airbag when inflated.

Brakes - With all brakes featuring twin piston calipers, bigger brake pads can be used offering a larger than normal contact surface, therefore greatly assisting the D-MAX's braking ability.

ABS & EBD - ABS (Anti-skid Brake System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution ) are available standard on all SX and LS models ensuring optimum braking.

Height Adjustable Seat Belts - All outerboard seats are featured with height-adjustable seat belts to ensure shorter occupants are not only comfortable, but safely supported in an accident. The feature is especially important for children.

Side Door Intrusion Beams - Danger not only approaches front on, so for side impact all doors are fitted with solid side-intrusion beams to maximise protections to occupants.
